Notes
In 1908, in Desenzano del Garda, Visconti Wine Producers started their activity.
Their growth and success became important immediately after the second world war. They were due mainly to the production, from white grapes grown in the nearby country south of Garda lake (Nord Italy, Lombardy region), of a great wine with strong characteristics: the white Lugana doc.
Visconti Wine Producers from Desenzano represent today a symbol for the Lugana wine. The availability to them of most of Lugana grapes, following special agreements with local farmers, has always allowed the accurate and essential selections, which offer the best guarantee for top quality wines.
Among the most important rewards we like to remember: the “Oscar di Pramaggiore”, the “Douja d’oro di Asti”, the Golden Medal of Lubiana and the Stella del Garda (the last one won several times).
Today Visconti Wine Producers from Desenzano are proud to offer the best production of DOC wines from the lake of Garda region: Lugana doc, Garda Classico doc Chiaretto, Garda doc Cabernet, Garda doc Merlot, Lugana doc sparkling classic method and others selections.
