Notes
In the territory of Morro D’Oro, a little village in the district of Teramo, on the harmonious and sunny hills between the Adriatic Sea and the Gran Sasso mountains, we can find the vineyards of “La Quercia”. Their east-west exposure, with an average elevation of about 250 metres above sea-level, the excellent climate and the outstanding morphology of the soil render this area the ideal one for an excellent vinification.
In July 2000, three young partners, each with a lot of experience in this sector, took over the old cellar. Driven by great love for their land and enormous passion for the viticulture and the oenology, they restructured the cellar and introduced some advanced technologies respecting at the same time traditions and norms and aiming to produce a few, but high-quality wines.
